Scope of work:

Severe weather damage led us to complete a full restoration of this statue. The forearms and scroll were especially disintegrated from ice, snow and freeze/thaw cycles and had to be removed and then recreated. Old paint was removed from the statue along with any loose material. Historic Italian restoration materials were used including; Marmorino Intonaco Bianco (white Marmorino). Materials were applied with venetian trowels of all sizes. Restoration included a combination of sculpting and plastering, which included the sculpting of the new arms and scroll.
